Bit of Green

On Monday we had a go setting up the greenscreen. I didn't have a camera on me, or my phone so I'm afraid this picture is off google and therefore is only added for decorative effect...

The principles were straight forward enough. Make sure that what you want to film is completely backed by the screen at all times. Make sure that the screen is green. Most kinds of green will do. As long as it's green it's good as green appears the least in non natural environments.

Make sure that the screen is lit but not with bright light that reflects back too much at the camera. This can be achieved with diffusers and switching the lights to spot. Then make sure your subject is lit. These lights will be placed further towards the camera directed at the subject so that they don't light the green screen too much.
