I can't believe I didn't mention this person before. The Buddha is probably the epitome of the qualities I've outlined. The facial features on the original Indian Buddha are the kind of thing I think I'm after at the moment: calm and understated. The Chinese laughing Buddha on the right isn't nearly as modest yet his light hearted expression is still a sign of his inner peace due to supreme knowledge and wisdom and thus equally befitting of the character I've got in mind.
